Goodbye to City Stress & Your Cares
Here, your private hill country retreat awaits. Lounge under the 400-year-old oak tree outside the 1906 farmhouse that sleeps up to seven guests comfortably. There’s plenty of room for family reunions and spaces to explore. If you have more guests, add the bunkhouse that sleeps nine in comfy XL twin beds.
Enjoy an authentic Texas Hill Country experience, mix it up in nature, cool off in the pool, pickleball it up in our covered, lighted pickleball court, take in magical sunsets from the hilltop, and sleep under a blanket of stars. The whole ranch is yours to roam during your stay---we only book one group of guests at a time.
“I took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees.”
— Henry David Thoreau

Peace & Quiet, With Great Excursions Close By
There's so much to do a short drive away. At least 50 wineries are within a 20-minute radius, antiquing and shopping in Johnson City and Fredericksburg, hikes in Pedernales State Park, golfing and boating in nearby Marble Falls. The LBJ Western White House and Museum is 15 minutes away in Stonewall.
Bring your bikes to cycle the back roads and take in the blankets of wildflowers. If you have kids, check out the Hill Country Science Mill in Johnson City...educational and fun. Some yummy restaurants in Johnson City---check out two of our faves: Bryan’s on 290 and Pecan Street Brewery on the courthouse square. And holiday lights in JC are a bucket list item---you can tell the area’s electric cooperative is headquartered here!
